On the number of registered electors and the number of electors to whom ballot cards were issued by 4.30 p.m. in the second round of the Elections for the President of the Republic of Poland written for 23 October 2005.

I. Collective nationwide information

On the basis of data provided by 25 000 local electoral commissions out of the total 25 000 local electoral commissions established nationwide (i.e. excluding the precincts established abroad and on the Polish ships), the National Electoral Commission provides the information as below representing the status as at 4.30 p.m. on 23 October 2005:

1. Number of eligible electors, i.e. the number of electors registered in the precincts which provided the data, was 30 124 178.

2. Ballot cards were issued to 10 679 292 eligible electors which constitutes 35.45% of the total number of eligible electors.

IV. In comparison with the total number of the eligible voters, the highest turnout has been noted in the administrative district of Godziszów, Lubelskie Province – 60.13%
